Welcome to Cricklewood Skip Hire. These Terms and Conditions govern your use of our skip hire services. By engaging our services, you agree to abide by these terms. Please read them carefully before proceeding.
1. Definitions

- Customer: Any individual or entity that hires a skip from the Provider.
- Skip: A container provided by the Provider for the disposal of waste.
2. Service Provision
Cricklewood Skip Hire offers a range of skip sizes to accommodate various waste disposal needs. Upon hiring a skip, the Customer will select the appropriate size based on their requirements. The Provider reserves the right to refuse a skip size if it deems it inappropriate for the intended use.
2.1 Delivery and Collection
The Provider will deliver the skip to the designated location on the agreed-upon date and time. Collection will occur after the period specified in the hire agreement. Any changes to delivery or collection must be communicated at least 48 hours in advance.
3. Payment Terms
Payment for services must be made in full at the time of booking unless otherwise agreed upon. Accepted payment methods include:
- Credit/Debit Cards
- Bank Transfers
- Cash
All prices are subject to applicable taxes. The Provider reserves the right to change prices with prior notice.
4. Customer Responsibilities
The Customer is responsible for ensuring that the skip is placed on stable, level ground and does not obstruct public pathways. Under no circumstances should the skip be placed on private property without the owner's consent.
4.1 Prohibited Items
The following items are strictly prohibited from being disposed of in the skip:
- Hazardous waste, including chemicals and asbestos.
- Electrical appliances.
- Flammable materials.
- Medicines and pharmaceuticals.
Any violation may result in the immediate collection of the skip without refund.
5. Liability
Cricklewood Skip Hire is not liable for any damage or injury resulting from improper placement or use of the skip. Customers are advised to ensure the skip is used in accordance with these Terms and Conditions.
5.1 Insurance
Customers are responsible for ensuring they have adequate insurance coverage when using skip hire services. The Provider does not cover damage to property or third-party claims arising from the use of the skip.
6. Cancellation Policy
Customers may cancel their skip hire within 24 hours of booking without incurring any fees. Cancellations made after this period may be subject to a cancellation fee equivalent to 50% of the total hire cost.
7. Force Majeure
Cricklewood Skip Hire is not responsible for delays or failure to provide services due to circumstances beyond its control, including but not limited to natural disasters, strikes, or governmental restrictions.
8. Governing Law
These Terms and Conditions are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the United Kingdom. Any disputes arising from these terms will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts in the United Kingdom.
9. Amendments
The Provider reserves the right to amend these Terms and Conditions at any time. Customers will be notified of significant changes via email or through our official website. Continued use of our services constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
10. Privacy Policy
Customer information is handled in accordance with our Privacy Policy. We are committed to protecting your personal data and ensuring its confidentiality.
11. Severability
If any provision of these Terms and Conditions is found to be invalid or unenforceable, the remaining terms will continue in full force and effect.
12. Entire Agreement
These Terms and Conditions constitute the entire agreement between the Customer and Cricklewood Skip Hire regarding the use of our services, superseding any prior agreements or understandings.
